Notice of the Discontinuation of Plastic Free Night Vouchers (Toyoko Inn Vouchers)
Thank you for choosing Toyoko Inn. We issue plastic Free Night Vouchers (Toyoko Inn Vouchers; hereinafter referred to as "vouchers") to Toyoko Inn Club Card members who request them when redeeming the "Stay 10 Nights, Get 1 Free Night" member benefit. These vouchers are intended to be given as gifts to family members or friends, and their resale is strictly prohibited. In recent years, however, the number of resale cases has increased, and highly sophisticated counterfeit vouchers have begun circulating. As a result, the number of customers affected by these counterfeit vouchers has also been rising. Therefore, we will discontinue Free Night Vouchers effective March 31, 2028. From then on, the "Stay 10 Nights, Get 1 Free Night" member benefit will be managed and redeemed exclusively through points credited to your Club Card or Digital Membership Card (collectively referred to as the "Membership Card").
Accordingly, Free Night Vouchers will no longer be accepted from April 1, 2028. Please see the details below. If you already have a Free Night Voucher, please use it by March 31, 2028, or apply to have it converted back into member points. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Please note that member points will continue to have no expiration date. The "Stay 10 Nights, Get 1 Free Night" member benefit will also continue. The Toyoko Inn Club Card Membership Terms and Conditions will be revised on December 16, 2025, following the discontinuation of Free Night Vouchers.
Toyoko Inn Club Card Membership Terms and Conditions1. Discontinuation of Free Night Vouchers
Free Night Vouchers will be discontinued effective March 31, 2028 (the "Discontinuation Date").
From the day after the Discontinuation Date (April 1, 2028), Free Night Vouchers will no longer be accepted. If you do not plan to use your voucher by the Discontinuation Date, please apply to have it converted back into member points. For details, please refer to "4. Converting Free Night Vouchers Back into Member Points."
* Paper Free Night Vouchers issued by Toyoko Inn that do not have an expiration date printed on them will also become invalid on the Discontinuation Date. They cannot be used on or after April 1, 2028. No cash refunds or conversion into member points will be provided for paper Free Night Vouchers. If an expiration date is printed on a paper Free Night Voucher, the printed expiration date will take precedence.
2. Issuance of Free Night Vouchers
The issuance of Free Night Vouchers will end on September 30, 2026 (the "Issuance End Date"). After that date, please refer to "3. How to Redeem the 'Stay 10 Nights, Get 1 Free Night' Member Benefit" for information on how to redeem your free night.
Free Night Vouchers issued from today through the Issuance End Date will also no longer be accepted on or after April 1, 2028.
3. How to Redeem the "Stay 10 Nights, Get 1 Free Night" Member Benefit
When redeeming the benefit for your own stay, simply tap the [Use Points] button on the self-check-in kiosk at check-in or inform the front desk, as you have done previously.
If you wish to give a free stay to a family member or friend, beginning in September 2026 (planned), you will be able to make a gift reservation by using your points to book a stay through the official website, in addition to using a Free Night Voucher. Details, including how to make a reservation, will be announced on the official website at a later date.
Reservations made using member points through the official website are available only for stays at Toyoko Inn hotels in Japan.
About Toyoko Inn Club Card Membership4. Converting Free Night Vouchers Back into Member Points
If you have a Free Night Voucher issued on or before December 15, 2025, and do not plan to use it by the Discontinuation Date, please apply to have it converted back into member points from today (December 16, 2025) onward. Please bring both the Free Night Voucher and the Membership Card used to issue it, and submit your application at the front desk of any Toyoko Inn hotel. * Please note that it may take up to one month for the points to be credited to your account.
The points (10 points) will be credited back to the Membership Card from which the Free Night Voucher was issued. They cannot be credited to any other Membership Card.
Applications to convert Free Night Vouchers back into member points will also be accepted only until the Discontinuation Date. Please submit your application by the Discontinuation Date.
Free Night Vouchers cannot be refunded or exchanged for anything other than member points.
Free Night Vouchers issued on or after today (December 16, 2025) cannot be converted back into member points for any reason.
